About Wausau Housing Authority

Wausau Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low-income residents by administering programs such as Low Rent Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8.

The maximum applicable aid levels shall be based on collection and processing costs and fixed by the Commission.

There may be waiting lists for rentals or vouchers and sometimes the lists may come close to new applicants based on the size and length of the waiting lists.
